Benifits of eating Rice

RICE:

-according to ayurved, rice should be little roasted in pure home made ghee for some minutes & then be cooked this increases medicinal properties of rice.

- diabetes: rice along with dal is very good diet for diabetic people. Rice release glucose in moderate & constant way which stabilize & properly maintain levels of blood sugar.

- rice helps to destroy LDL (bad cholesterol), triglycerides & increases HDL( good cholesterol) which is necessary for proper functioning of body.

- it prevents formation of kidney stone.
- it is useful in stomach ache & gastritis.
- water of rice that is prepared by boiling rice with water is useful to cure diarrhoea , difficult or painful urination, fever.

- obesity: if rice soup is consumed in morning it helps in obesity, it is prepared by boiling rice with water.

- rice is digested quickly by our body, hence a good diet.
- rice is excellent source of glucose, vitamin B complex, energy, fiber, protein, calcium, iron, phosphorus, & suitable amount of fats required by body.

- rice helps to expel gas from the stomach and intestines.
- rice helps to balance vaat & pitta.

- according to ayurved, rice should be stored for 1 year & then be used such rice is easy to digest & has high medicinal properties. Rice used without storing can increase cough.

but if it is stored for 3 years or more then it, then it becomes nutrition less.
